ETK Leadership Solutions proudly hosted its second annual « Brunch For Thought » on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the elegant Geneva Marriott Hotel. Under the theme « Becoming the CEO of Your Own Life, » this empowering and inspiring experience attracted a diverse gathering of over 85 women from across Switzerland.

The heart of the event lay in the profound conversations guided by Swiss-trained sociologist Dr. Eleanor T. Khonje as she delved into the essence of what it truly means for women to “become” the CEOs of their own lives. Dr. Khonje beautifully described becoming as « an ongoing discovery process that demands that we continuously and deeply engage with ourselves, committedly inquiring how we are constantly evolving in every season.” Her insights were not just inspiring but also actionable, offering five practices of becoming the CEOs of our own lives that, when embraced and embodied, would enable women to build and live fulfilling lives, lives that authentically reflect who they truly are.

A noteworthy addition to this year’s Brunch For Thought was the introduction of the CEO Lounge. This shopping haven featured talented designers like Hipsy, a Swiss jewelry company with its atelier nestled in Founex; Zawadi Mode, a unique fashion accessories brand; and Bola Nangabe, a pan-African fashion brand that has recently found its Swiss home.

The event crescendoed with « On the Couch with Dr. Elly, » the live podcast show hosted by Dr. Eleanor Khonje, where she engaged in enlightening conversations with Fanny and Masego, the visionary minds behind Hipsy and Bola Nangabe.

A highlight that drew the crowd’s collective excitement was the announcement of this year’s Boss Babe Award recipient. This prestigious award is an annual tribute to an exceptional woman entrepreneur in Switzerland. The recipient will collaborate with ETK Leadership Solutions for the next year to receive comprehensive business consulting, branding, marketing, and public relations support. A heartfelt congratulations to this year’s well-deserving winner, Josephine Agyeman-Duah.

Brunch For Thought is a celebration that embodies community building, sisterhood, and a wealth of knowledge-based resources. It is an event that empowers women to unlock their full individual potential and build lives that look and feel like who they are.
